In short: Danglio for Windows and Android works without an account. It keeps an anonymous id for each device and, unless you switch it off, sends the app version, the system (Windows or Android) and the language setting once a day. If you choose to sign in, we get your email, and the name and country you give us. Your wallpaper photo never leaves your phone. We don't show ads, sell data, track you across apps, or collect IP addresses in the app.

1. Who is responsible

Prabaharan Krishnakumar (K Prabaharan), trading as installngo ("installngo", "we"), Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, India, decides how this data is used (the "Data Fiduciary" under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023). Contact: installngo.official@gmail.com.

2. What Danglio collects

DataWhenWhy
An install id for this device. It is made from the device's own identifier (Android's app-specific ID, or Windows' machine ID) by a one-way scramble, so that identifier is never sent and can't be worked out from the install id.AlwaysTo know which charms this device has unlocked, and to recognise the same device if Danglio is uninstalled and installed again, so its charms and purchases come back
The device's name (a phone's maker and model, such as "Samsung SM-A528B", or a computer's name)With the install info belowSo you can tell your devices apart in your account
App version, system (Windows version, or "android") and language setting (for example ta-IN), and a country code taken from that language settingAt most once a day, only while Share anonymous install info is on (Windows: Settings → Privacy; Android: More → Privacy). It's on by default and you can switch it off at any time.To know which versions are still in use and which languages and countries to support

The name and country you type in after your first sign-inOnly if you sign inTo greet you by name, and to understand which countries Danglio is used in
The devices linked to your account (their install ids, app and system versions, and when they were last seen)Only if you sign inTo show your devices in the app and apply the limit of 5
Purchase records: what you bought, price, currency, date, the Razorpay payment id and its statusWhen you buyTo unlock what you paid for, handle refunds, and keep the records tax law requires
What you write to usWhen you contact usTo answer you

We never collect: your phone number, location, contacts, IP address, hardware serial numbers, files, photos, screenshots, what you type, or which other apps you use. Your settings, favourites and chosen charm stay on your device.

Your wallpaper photo (Android): when you choose a photo for behind the charm, Android lets Danglio see only that one photo. Danglio keeps a copy inside the app on your phone to draw the wallpaper. It is never uploaded, and it is deleted when you choose the Danglio colour or uninstall the app. Danglio doesn't ask for permission to see your photo library.

3. Payments

Payments are handled by Razorpay. Razorpay may ask for your phone number and email and collects your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive the payment id, amount, status and the contact details Razorpay shares with the payment, and never your full card number, bank password or UPI PIN.

4. This website

installngo.com uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising. It's hosted by Vercel, whose servers briefly log technical data such as IP addresses to keep the site secure. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when it sends them.

5. Why we're allowed to use it

We use your email, name and country with your consent, which you give by signing in and filling them in. We use purchase records to deliver what you paid for and to meet legal duties such as tax and accounting. The anonymous install info is used only for the statistics above, and you can stop it in Settings.

6. Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent personal data. We share it only with the service providers that run Danglio for us, only as needed:

Some of these providers store data on servers outside India. We choose providers with strong security, and we'll share data with authorities only when the law requires it.

7. How long we keep it

8. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, correct or update it, or erase it, and you can withdraw your consent. You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights for you.

If you're not happy with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

9. Children

You can use Danglio's free charms without giving us any personal data. Accounts and purchases are for people aged 18 or older; a parent or guardian must sign in and buy for anyone younger. If you think a child has given us their email without that, please contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Security

Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). The app holds no keys to our database; only our server functions can read account and purchase data, and admin access is limited to named people. Charm lists are digitally signed so the app can tell they really came from us.

11. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For important changes we'll tell you in the app or by email before they apply.

12. Contact and grievances

Grievance officer: Prabaharan Krishnakumar (K Prabaharan), installngo, Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, India. Email installngo.official@gmail.com (subject: Privacy). We acknowledge within 48 hours and aim to resolve within 15 days.
